Don Cheadle, who is a famous international actor and a charity fundraiser and activist, became a partner of Full Tilt Poker.
Full Tilt Poker is really proud to have a partner like Don Cheadle, whom they appreciate a lot.

Don Cheadle is the co-founder of the Ante Up for Africa No-Limit Texas Hold ‘Em Poker Tournament, his partners are the poker pro Annie Duke and also Norman Epstein. This organization asks the players to donate 50% of their winnings to the charity. The money is being distributed to different organizations such as Not on Our Watch, Enough Project, and also the International Rescue Committee.

In 2007, the Ante Up for Africa event took place for the first time and over 170 celebrities participated. Among them were Ben Affleck, Matt Damon and Poker Pros Andy Bloch and Chris Ferguson.

This year’s Ante Up for Africa will take place on July the 2nd at 2 pm in the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino during the 2009 World Series of Poker.
Before the life event begins, FullTiltPoker.com will be running a private charity tournament to support the big event.
The entrance fee for Ante Up or Africa will be $5 and also this price will go to the charity. Until today, the Ante Up for Africa charity raised over $ 2 million to support the humanitarian crisis in Sudan.

Beside being an amazing actor, Don Cheadle, is also a great poker player and he participated at several televised tourneys like Poker After Dark, Celebrity Shoot-Out and NBC Heads Up and he also won some tournaments around town. He hopes that he will be able to play also at the WSOP events one day, because his acting schedule is quite full right now.
