China prepares to allow online gambling in the country. Casino operators are following close behind.

The Chinese gambling law is going to change and that makes a lot of Gambling companies really happy. There will be new rules rather than bans. This means that many operators, who were debarred of the US market, may count on a new business.
One of these companies is Bodog, which already begun to prepare a big campaign to attract new gamblers in China. Bodog prepared an advertising campaign in Chinese that will be published online and in print media all over the country. This is an amazing idea, and Bodog is ready to realize it, also if China is not even open to the gambling online market yet. The Galaxy Entertainment from Macau is ready to join Bodog in its preparations.
Francis Liu, the chairman of the Galaxy Entertainment Group spoke at the Asian Interactive Gaming conference in Macau. He claimed that there are still going to be forms of gaming which will stay banished such as online betting for example, but there could be big changes coming from the government concerning the gambling sector.
Though there is a demand for online gambling in China, the market at the beginning will be open only to a few operators, most of them Chinese. Obviously there is already a competition for who will be the privileged ones.
