One of the biggest highlights of 2008 is the launch of the new $5000 Texas Showdown tournament. The Tournament is going to be a blast, and will be launched on Monday the 3rd of March 2008. This will allow for a fantastic series of tourneys which will start fresh every month, with a main event on the last Sunday of the month for $5000.

Essentially there will be 3 Freerolls every week on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday and the top 50 places from each Freeroll will win a seat to the Texas Showdown. On the last Sunday of every month, the Texas Showdown will take place, which will see the 600 qualifying players fight it out for a share of $5000.
